Gary, drums.
Bridging the ultimate cultural divide, Gary grew up in Ohio but now resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Taking full advantage of his eclectic interests and influences, he infuses a unique point of view into the backbone of our tracks.
Chris, vocals, guitar.
Chris started off playing guitar in a blues/rock cover band at the tender age of 16 in the awesomely named band “Karmic Regatta” and later in the alt-bluegrass band “The Thunder Mountain Tub Thumpers.” Chris has the sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament, and is tired of repeatedly being asked whether he is the architect in the band.
Jeffrey Sanchez-Burks, Moog, Prophet, Guitar, Bass.
Moonlighter in songwriting and explorer of analog soundscapes. On blue moons, he contributes to Sunday Night Radio.
Mark, bass, guitar.
Mark’s musical tenacity stems from his formal training by Ann Arbor legend and Brownsville Station fame, Mike Lutz. In prior lives, he was an active member of Crave and Undertow. His role in Models + Architects is multifaceted ranging from bass to guitar to band shaman and spiritual guide.
